As the IT Manager, you will maintain the company’s IT infrastructure, providing technical support and implementing IT solutions to help our business. The role can be based in either our New York, NY office or Washington, DC, but will service both offices and remote employees.

What You Will Be Doing:

  • Serve as primary contact for technical support for our staff on a variety of IT issues – hardware, software, and network troubleshooting.
  • Responsible for the installation and maintenance of software packages, including all installations, configurations, upgrades, license management, and user onboarding and offboarding.
  • Manage, improve, and maintain networks and network equipment for the company’s locations.
  • Manage procurement, installation and maintenance of desktops, laptops and other hardware used in the company offices and remote locations.
  • Create and maintain inventory of hardware and software assets.
  • Create and execute best in class cyber security and disaster recovery processes and plans.
  • Promptly manage any IT incidents in accordance with company policy.
  • Actively participate in IT strategy and planning for the company.
  • Proactively evaluate processes and tools to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with our team to identify, address, and train on IT needs and requirements, including maintaining ongoing employee cyber security training program.
  • Negotiate with and manage third-party hardware and software providers.
  • Control and monitor data, network access and backup systems.
  • Complete client-mandated IT audits and assessments and ensure compliance with client IT requirements.
  • Stay up to date on the latest technology trends and best practices.

What We Are Looking For:

  • 5+ years of experience in an IT support role.
  • Experience in designing, setting up and maintaining LAN/WAN, VLAN/VPN, wireless network, and firewalls.
  • Experience with Cloud Technologies and Cloud Environment Management (Azure, AWS, Google Cloud).
  • Experience in laptop (Windows/MAC) set up and maintenance.
  • Experience in managing and maintaining software packages including but not limited to: Google Suite, Microsoft 365, Datto, Malwarebytes, and MDM software.
  • Well-versed in cyber security best practices.
  • Results-oriented professional with an ownership mentality and a passion to solve real life problems.
  • Ability to work with others and exhibit patience to troubleshoot technical issues, while providing timely resolutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects at once.
  • Excellent communication and people skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a distributed team environment.

The salary range for this role is $90,000-100,000.

Due to the pandemic, we required all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. We are currently working in a hybrid model and required staff to work in the office 50% of the working days of the month.
