Precision Strategies is now accepting applications for interns to join our Digital team in our Washington, D.C. or New York office this spring. This is a paid internship, and undergraduates, recent graduates, and graduate students are eligible to apply. Spring internships will start in January and run through May 2025 though dates are flexible. We ask that interns be able to commit at least 25 hours a week.

With Americans spending more time on their phones than they do watching TV and more still on their tablets and laptops every organization depends more than ever on its digital presence. Our team of social media strategists, email and SMS writers, video producers, and designers make our clients stand out. Our staff will work closely with our interns, exposing them to high-level work for a broad spectrum of clientele. Intern responsibilities may include, but are not limited to, contributing to digital campaigns, conducting research, and supporting clients.

What You Will Do:

  • Provide support to our team on a variety of clients ranging from companies, causes, and campaigns.
  • Develop ideas and write both short and long form digital content.
  • Monitor social media, reporting on digital performance analytics, and compiling press clips.
  • Participate in client meetings and brainstorming content.
  • Report on current social media trends
  • Conduct research for our client work and new business.
  • Learn about the PR profession and agency life.

What We Are Looking For:

  • Demonstrated interest in digital and social media
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work effectively and multitask in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail.
  • The ability to work collaboratively on a team
  • Creative, energetic, detail-oriented and possesses an entrepreneurial spirit.
  • Chronically online and
  • Fluency in Spanish is a plus, but not required.

This position is for our DC and New York office location. Due to the pandemic, we required all employees to be vaccinated against COVID-19. We are currently working in a hybrid model and require staff to work in the office 50% of each month.
